I purchased this collar in May 2019 and in June 2021 our cat somehow managed to get a front paw through the collar. I found it odd that it wouldn't come loose, and when I went to unbuckle it I found that the collar's connecting pieces were fully locked together. I was able to detach and remove the collar but was disappointed that the safety feature of this product was/was not working. My friend and I both tried to open it later but it was impossible to get the collar off without breaking it.
