lost stars for no instructions in the box or on the website. As soon as I found the instructions for a similar toggle switch, I figured it out. The blue LEDs for the switch are connected directly to the battery, so are ALWAYS lit. I removed this connector because I found the switch LEDs to be bright and distracting. Once installed, the switches work great. They are durable and have a satisfying click.
