It's from washing your hands!
This product ended in disappointment. It's not as waterproof as you might think. Condensation occurs from hand washing and repeated wetting, not from immersion in water. I chose this product because I love that it vibrates to alert the child. This feature is great for a shy child, so it's a shame they can't handle hand washing and garden water splashes!
