Minus 2 stars. I liked the thick wool hats and the turned up edges that reduce the chance of bumping anything. A light touch is best. If the hat is too overgrown with wax or any debris, think I don't think it can be washed except by hand.They scatter wool fibers and for safety reasons at least one personal sc goggles required. The fibers can also be sucked into the polishing motor, which is dangerous. The mask is also a good idea. I can hardly give a very qualified 3 star recommendation for this OTUAYAUTO Store Auto Care Wool Polishing Pad 3pcs. 8" (230mm) 100% Wool Velcro Pads and 1pc 5/ 8-11 Buffer Base Plate. The base plate thread is NOT as advertised, closer to 14mm with 2mm thread pitch. Proper rotary buffing tool MUST be used at low speed. Not mine choice to use.
