Review on πŸš— High-Performing YCT Crankshaft Position CPS Sensor 39180-2B000 for Hyundai Accent Elantra Tucson Veloster Kia Forte Rio Soul by Matthew Bahri

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Just as good as the expensive version

I checked out several auto parts stores and they all sold 5-10x what I paid for them. I have no idea why as it was exactly what I needed and solved the problem I was having (car ran at low rpm after warming up, stalled and then refused to start. No codes while cold but once it was warmed up it gave a code for the crankshaft sensor Replaced it and the problem went away However the reason it worked at all seems to be that my thermostat/temp sensor (not sure which one) was out of order , so my next project is flushing the cooling system and replacing both. Fix a problem, then find out what caused it and don't always assume the part was just old.) Back to this product: Overall, was it easy to install. The hardest part was getting to the connection point. The old part appears to be permanently attached, but it will come loose, then fitting this new part will be a breeze. Problem solved and it still works, although I just put a band-aid on the cooling system problem (turning on Max AC to keep the fan running even though the thermostat won't turn it on). Fair price for a good product.
