Improper machining of drivetrain and gearbox
The size of this driveshaft was 0.003 oversized compared to the new Volvo Penta OEM shaft. Installation was not possible because it did not fit into the new Volvo Penta cardan bearing. Pay a machine shop to cut the shaft to factory specifications.
