I bought the MX-1 headphones to compare the in-ear headphones (similar to Air Pods) and the in-ear headphones I currently own (MPOW MDots) , to try. As another reviewer said in his review, if you live up to your expectations given the price and performance/features, this is a great pair of headphones and it ticks all the boxes. The MX-1 is very similar to the Air Pods but in black. They come with 2 different sizes of silicone ear tips that allow for an adjustable fit and keep them fairly secure in the ear. For around $20 you get some pretty comfortable true wireless headphones with great battery life, a charging case with wireless charging, active noise cancellation (ANC), and a two-year warranty. Sound quality is good but not stunning. Compared to my in-ear headphones, the MX-1 isn't as loud or bass-heavy. The mids and highs appear clearer on the MX-1. Overall, sound reproduction was very good overall, but less enveloping than my in-ear headphones. The feature where the MX-1 exceeded my expectations is active noise cancellation (ANC). I did a couple of test calls between my MDots (no ANC) and MX-1 (with ANC) and the MX-1 was much clearer on calls generally on the listener side. The ANC function did a very good job of keeping wind or other background noise to a minimum. So if call quality is important to you, ANC is a must. They just pair with my phone and now connect automatically. The comfort is good but I will say that it depends on the shape of your ear. If you like Air Pods, you will love them too. Overall, the MX-1 offer good audio reproduction, long battery life, and ANC for clarity when using for calls or video conferencing. In terms of performance, the MX-1 with true wireless headphones is very good in every respect. In terms of value for money, they're a great option that you can enjoy without feeling guilty if you lose them and have to replace them with another set.
