A great sporty take on Sperry without sacrificing the comfort, style and looks I've come to expect from this company. I like that the liner is synthetic and stretchy. This should actually be worn barefoot and then taken off, rinsed out, dried quickly with a towel and put on again. They don't smell like other types of leather soles. The wave pattern also provides great in-shoe traction when your feet are wet or sweaty and you're not wearing socks. I wear my short low cut panties for my other Sperrys but not for this one. Literally designed to be worn barefoot during outdoor activities. Additional mesh for ventilation, higher material for more support and removable synthetic memory foam like the insole. I only wear socks if I later wear them to work (business casual dress code), but then only thin dress socks. I can't decide every day whether to wear these or the three-eyed marlins. So comfy, even in that Alabama July heat, my Sperry flip flops got thrown. I highly recommend it if you want a more sporty look and wear without socks and quickly dry the insoles with a towel and put them back on for the comfort of dry feet. Great for the price. They take longer to break in than other models and Boost shoes due to the thicker sole, but you don't lose comfort. They look like new longer and come out of the box well. I wear a regular size 11 in all shoes except some dress shoes where I wear a 10.5. Fits just like any other Sperry pair I've ever owned.
