I also like to support new sellers as I know that buying a product with only a few reviews is risky, but I do my best to help them get started. I have received few poor quality products using this approach. The remote control arrived quickly as promised. The first sign I bought an inferior remote control was that it arrived in a plain plastic bag - no batteries - no box - no tag - no. Instructions - no guarantee - no support phone number - no thanks for purchasing our product Sony Bravia TVs (which are listed as compatible on the website). So I started reading some Revain reviews of other similar non-OEM remotes that said the remote doesn't turn the TV on, it turns the TV off. I then used one of my original remotes to turn on the TV and sometimes that remote would turn the TV off and some other functions worked (turn channels on and off, volume); but some didn't work at all. Second, the remote control is much lighter than the original and the buttons are not the same and cheaply made. I returned this remote and ordered the original (OEM) remote.
