When traveling slowly, there is a faint hum. The rumble is gentle and not inconvenient. Subjectively, they hummed louder before MICHELIN X Ice. Who doesn't notice how spikes scratch up the asphalt? I've survived the winter, I'm content with everything, and the rumble has either stopped or I've become accustomed to it. The hold is strong. Not really on ice. It looks like the spikes are in place.
