Replaced fan clutch on my Corvette 350 cu on this one which is from the same year but for a big block 454 cu engine. It moves a lot more air when spinning at higher RPMs as there is less slippage. And when it's not engaged, it spins at a lower RPM due to more slip. Last year I replaced the fan clutch with the correct clutch, but decided to replace it again this year with the heavy-duty clutch from the 454 engine. Last year the engine temperature slowly rose during stop and go driving. Now it stays cool without exceeding the normal temperature in traffic jams.
