Bought for my 9 year old son. The overall quality is wise, it is good. They are a bit big at the waist, but that is not critical. My son's biggest complaint about these shorts is the velcro fly. He decided to use them as casual shorts. He recently decided to wear them to school as he wanted to show his friends. When he went downstairs to get ready for school, I expressed my concern about the velcro as I didn't want him to have any awkward moments when the velcro unexpectedly popped open. So before he went to school, I had him unzip and re-zip to make sure it would stick together. Of course, after he got on the bus he turned to say goodbye to me and I saw that the velcro was starting to tear a little and his boxer shorts were showing. Unfortunately, I don't know if he noticed or not. The day he got home from school, he described the Velcro as a nightmare. He said that when he got to school to put his stuff in his locker, he leaned over to open his locker and felt the velcro snap and his shorts almost fell over his ankles in the hallway, and he caught Spider -Left man in his boxer shorts. in front of classmates. He said when he tried to reattach the velcro it immediately fell apart and said he literally spent 5 minutes in the hallway trying to reattach the velcro. Later, when he got up from his seat in the class to give his report on the book, the velcro broke again and he said it was humiliating as his entire class saw his Spider-Man boxers and he fidgeted nervously, when he tried to glue the velcro. He said that in the middle of his presentation, the Velcro began to unravel again and he felt his shorts slide back down, exposing his boxers. He said he didn't want to draw attention to himself, so he didn't bother with the velcro until he was at his desk and said the velcro was stuck to his boxer shorts until he finally put the velcro on. said he didn't realize part of his boxer shorts got caught on the Velcro, and if his friend hadn't noticed, he never would have known. Another thing he found annoying was that the back of the belt kept twisting and if he tried to fix it he would end up breaking the velcro. He said it was all a nightmare and he was embarrassed that his classmates had seen his boxers with Spider-Man on them. Despite this embarrassing nightmare, he said he would keep the shorts, just not wear them to school anymore, as he didn't like that everyone could see his Spider-Man boxers that he was wearing.
