I like to create my own attachment points for some gear. Rather than trying to get ready-made straps, I prefer to cut the straps to the exact size I need to solve the problem (e.g. a 40 degree sleeping bag vs a 10 degree sleeping bag, different straps will be used needed). This kit was excellent. The straps are really strong. They cut well and you can heat treat the ends to prevent wear. The buckles aren't the biggest and may not be able to support the massive weight. However, they work great for things like a sleeping bag, sleeping pad, and others.
