I have an antique sliding patio door that will be replaced when weather and money allow. Meanwhile the outer handle of the door broke off and the inner one was broken in half. I had to leave the door slightly ajar when going outside because there was no way to grab the door to open it without a handle. Now the inside handle is close, I can't leave the door open (which invites mosquitoes and air conditioning) when inside. With an inside handle about to give out and an unavailable replacement handle for this 35 year old door, I got creative. Just in case anyone else ever finds they need to move a glass door or window without a handle, I'm posting. IT WORKS GREAT. Having two separate units in one package was the obvious solution for me - I have working handles on each side of the door. Lasts for days without reapplication and the suction device offers a much easier hold than original pens. I wish I had done this a long time ago. I love this product!
