Perfect. Exactly what I was looking for. I've read that most personal safety devices should be 120-125 decibels. This one said 140 I think that's why I picked it for its great price, colors and reviews. Tried all 5 individually. My ears! So yes, they are noisy/work well. At first I pulled slightly / and not immediately (see video) to see how easily it can "accidentally" stretch. He didn't just fall out. As I pulled harder and harder it came out clearly, but it wasn't difficult to pull. I think it strikes a good balance between accidentally pulling too lightly and being too stiff (it's not that hard at all. I promise. A determined light to medium pull works). Devices have this big "button" as a fake "off" button for the bad guys. So they can't figure out how to silence him because the 'button' doesn't work. (This does nothing.) Pull to set the alarm, turn silence back on, a small slider to turn on the light, and a chain to attach. I definitely recommend it.
