tea does not smell. However, it smells like cloves. If you love cloves, you will love it. But if you're hoping for that sweet cinnamon, vanilla, clove, and ginger tea flavor, it's not. Update - I bought this again because I forgot I had it before and didn't like it. I only realized this when I wanted to write a review. They must have changed something because now it smells like tea. The aroma is not a chai latte, but black tea. Smells fantastic now.
