The protective rubber is thin but should minimize damage when the device is in a pocket or glove box. The same with the protective film. The kit includes 3 screen protectors. I had to use two right away because I wasn't careful with the first one and it created a big bubble in the middle of the screen. I was careful with the second one but still managed to get a bubble on the edge of the screen and couldn't solve it no matter how hard I tried with the tool. On the third I'll try to be even more careful, but only after the second is a little scratched. Overall a good product. Should do the job! I would buy again if needed!
