Review on Tigster Tig Welding Gloves by Revco - Large Size, Superior Protection (One Pair) by Mike Davan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great Tig gloves.

I am very satisfied with these gloves, so I will buy another set. Bought the original set about 5 years ago when I got a Miller Diversion 180 for a hobby. I can't comment on how well they will hold up if you weld for a living, but they have worked great for my use. These are TIG gloves so don't expect them to last forever if you're using them for operations other than welding (cutting/grinding/fitting etc.). I tried switching between these and another pair of gloves during a project to keep for the duration of the weld. However, you end up having to do cuts, buffs, and prep while wearing them, so overall I'm very happy with them. They are a snug fit and require a little break-in period before you feel the ease of movement. They are pleasant to the touch and very comfortable once the skin has broken in. Fingertips will shrink and harden over time if careless with the bow, but I think it's all leather. I ended up wearing my thumb and fingertip through use, handling hot parts, and sharpening hot tungsten. Overall I'm very happy with the lifespan of the old pair and expect the same from these new ones. Photo old versus new. I think the cuff could be a bit longer on the new pair but other than that they have the same pattern and materials.

Pros
  • welding gloves
Cons
  • boring packaging
