Good mid size PPE gloves

I like these gloves a lot. The innards started falling apart too early for my liking, but I can wear out some gloves fairly quickly and I liked the moderate padding on them which provides good dexterity and feel through the glove, as well as good heat protection and durability. I would recommend them.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Superb TIG Gloves

Replacement TIG Gloves Needed. The ones I've used are better for arc or MIG welding and are too bulky for TIG welding. I looked around and found these gloves. I read the reviews and decided to purchase, I'm glad I did! They are light but well built. Now I have precise control when feeding the filler wire and can control the torch much better with these gloves.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Communication with Seller

Great gloves but terrible durability.

These superb gloves offer superb dexterity. However, the little finger on the back is not covered in leather, right where my gloves had a hole in my fill hand. The fabric material couldn't stand the heat of 150 amps AC and I had to cover it with the finger of an old glove. This would be great for lower amperage TIG and metalworking in general.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Gloves offer better dexterity, but at the cost of less heat.

I have skinny arms for a man and the large size fits me as I was hoping. Gloves offer better dexterity, but at the cost of less thermal protection. I found I had to stop more often or the heat would really go through the gloves. Another little thing: the fluffy orange lining seemed to peel off my welder's jacket after the first two uses - slightly but uncomfortable.

Pros
  • Security
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Nice gloves. I originally got them back in 2013 because my welding instructor recommended that we use TIG gloves for oxyfuel welding. They're too thin to withstand all the heat from the metal and torch flame, so I just used medium-strength welding gloves instead. Even when I actually welded the TIG, the heat still reached a point where it was unbearable to continue without getting another fill rod. If you want them to last a while, don't handle sharp-edged metal too often. Cuts through gloves.

Pros
  • Tools and household goods
Cons
  • So far so good

Great Tig gloves.

I am very satisfied with these gloves, so I will buy another set. Bought the original set about 5 years ago when I got a Miller Diversion 180 for a hobby. I can't comment on how well they will hold up if you weld for a living, but they have worked great for my use. These are TIG gloves so don't expect them to last forever if you're using them for operations other than welding (cutting/grinding/fitting etc.). I tried switching between these and another pair of gloves during a project to keep for

Pros
  • welding gloves
Cons
  • boring packaging
