Fixed defrost problem
My fridge was running all the time but the fridge compartment wasn't cold enough and the evaporator coils in the freezer compartment were iced up. I checked the defrost heater and found it good, with a resistance in the 30 ohm range. I then suspected the defrost thermostat, which I found "open" (see photo). After replacing the thermostat everything works fine. Very easy job, apart from the sheet metal panel at the back of the freezer where I kept throwing screws!
