That works great. The texture is a bit like syrup in comparison.

This works well. The texture is a little like syrup compared to Loctite. It's also slightly stronger than medium-strength blue Loctite. With thin threads I use very little so expect it to last a little longer. The first time I used it and removed it the compound settled in the nozzle and the second time I used it I had to remove it. This has never happened to me with Loctite or Permatex. I put the finishing nail in the cap that fits in the nozzle when the cap is in place. This completely solved the problem. I see no reason why I will not buy this product in the future.
