Bought to fix a hole in one of our leather sofa cushions. slightly shiny, like leather. Use this product to fix a hole in a sofa. This requires you to actually cut the hole larger to cut off the rough, raised edges of the hole and have room to place the patch underneath and tape it to the underside of the skin. Once you've done that, you basically build up the material until it's flush with the skin and matches the color. A few things to keep in mind when trying this fix if we have to do it again. we will consider. Cut the square patch onto the round hole. looking back afterwards. You can see a little of that square area under the skin. So I would suggest something that looks more like a hole shape. Color matching works great too, but you really need to work on it to get the perfect result. Even if you can do it perfectly. There is no way to add a slight glow to the skin. So it looks like a dull mark on the skin. But it's much better than a hole. Overall we are very happy with the product and we are probably the only ones who will notice.
