Update: It has been almost a month since my previous review. I have been using this product diligently and my piercing has almost disappeared. What I did: (See previous review) I started taking a Q-tip by spraying it with sterile saline wound irrigation and dipping it in this product and then applying it to the piercing. I slept like this and would sleep like this if I had time during the day. Burns like alcohol on a cut. After about a month and a half the ugly bump I got was almost completely healed. There's also a very small speck, but you can't even tell it's there. Try it, keep using it and see what you think. It took a couple of times to pop the bump, refill and reapply this material to see the difference. I've been using this for about 3 weeks now. A few things to know: I had a nose piercing for about 5 months. . I tried to change my nose piercing too early and had to practically force the piercing into my nose which really hurt and then the piercing bump showed. I tried everything and it just puffed up and looked pretty awful. I don't think it's a keloid as it sometimes fills with blood. I tried using this product as directed (mix it with water) and it didn't seem to do anything. So I started using my sterile saline solution to make a paste out of it, apply it to my piercing and leave it there for a few minutes a few times a day. The second time the pustule burst and all the blood eventually drained out. .I have continued to clean with saline and used this product as a paste. It didn't make the whole bump go away, but it seems to keep the swelling to a minimum. In fact, he looks the best he hasn't seen in months. I will update the review if anything changes in the next few weeks. PS It burns a little but I don't mind.
