Work as intended best in my review

These do work well, have good absorbency and are extremely soft. My only issue with these is that when you grab some gauze off the stack, the next ones follow causing them to unfold. Plus the material feels like it may not just be cotton. I'm not sure what it's supposed to be as I assumed gauze was cotton. But it feels synthetic.
