No need for tape! in my review

I have an adhesive allergy, and I have a g-tube. This is not the best of combinations. After I was switched from a button to a dangler, I had to find a way to secure the length of tubing.I do need to pre-treat my skin with a barrier product before I put this on though. I use Skin-Tac, and don’t have a problem with blistering or itching.Right now I’m using the size medium, but the large would actually be better due to the diameter of my tubing. It’s a 24fr. (SEE UPDATE BELOW ABOUT THIS!) My tube

Great alternative to Stat lock

The adhesive on the back on the stat lock made me break out in a horrible itchy and stinging rash. These are a great alternative for a stat lock. I have only tried these on my chest, to keep my tunneled catheter (central line) from pulling out. They do a great job and don’t irritate my skin. I have EDS & Co., with a suspected diagnosis of MCAS, so these have been a miracle. Without them, my catheter pulled out and was painful and bled a lot.

Expensive but worth it

These are stupid expensive but they work so great to hold my tube in place so it doesn't pull on my stoma site. I usually get 5ish days out of one griplok, holds up well through the shower.

Works well to secure tubing

Wife has a double nephrostomy.Dr. and hospital do not have or provide something to secure the tubing to her body to prevent accidental pull out, which has happened while showering. another hospital trip.We had to do our own research and thankfully found the Grip-Lok.The Grip-Lok patch device has worked well for us

Works as described good for me

This product performs as advertised. It is easy to apply, holds well, and can be removed quite easily without needing alcohol to release the adhesive.

This device sticks in place

Device is easy to apply, stays in place for many days, and is easy to remove. The adhesive that sticks to the skin comes off cleanly. The adhesive that sticks to the catheter tends to stick to the catheter and I have to use alcohol to loosen it up. I have not had to use alcohol to help release the device from the skin. I have not needed skin conditioners to improve the adhesion to the skin.

No more dangling PORT Line

This is a blessing to have to keep PORT line from dangling. Easy to access & works every time. It gets changed out every week when my dressing & Huber needle gets changed out & is easy to apply a new one every week. The Velcro lasts all week as well.
