I purchased these led bulbs as a trial for replacement of my florescent bulbs in my workshop. The ballasts in the current t12 fixtures are not compatible with these new led bulbs. After studying the instructions for ballast bypass I was still a bit confused about the process. I viewed a couple of how to videos on the web and decided to tackle the job. My first light took about 20 minutes to rewire but the second light took less that 5 minutes. Well worth the effort as I have vastly improved lighting for the area around these 2 fixtures. I have 12 more to replace now that I know the quality of these led bulbs.
