This is a great little tong/iron. It's great for young girls because it's lightweight and its temperature is adjustable so it doesn't get too hot. I have two daughters aged 11 and 9 who have recently started doing hair and makeup. They asked for their own curling irons, hair dryers and irons. I was only 11 and 9 years old and didn't trust them with really good (very hot) hardware so I looked at lower powered/street size devices and found this one. With only 1000W of power it doesn't get very hot so I'm not worried about them burning out. It comes with 4 sets of plates: flat bar, small, medium and long crimping shaft. It's easy to use and the end products are really cute.
