I installed this on my two-story staircase going down in July 2018). They work great! Allowed me to keep my baby/toddler with me at a basic level. The two child gates had slipped off the support prior to installation and they worked well to keep everything secure and where it should be. Fast forward 2.5 years and I just pulled the sitter off the wall. They removed layers of paint, drywall paper, and drywall dirt from the corners of the wall. I chose this because I knew the walls would likely be damaged and would need patching. The alternative would be the risk of the baby gates falling down. Overall, the Wall Sitter is worth it, but be aware that removing them will likely require you to make some adjustments!
