Reliable, well built, good layout/design and (so far) totally reliable

When I upgraded my monitor to the amazing new DELL UltraSharp U3417W, Dell U3417W FR3PK 34 inch LED Backlit Monitor and 3440 x 1440 resolution I decided it was time to upgrade my KVM switch as well and after much research I took a chance and tried this new CKL 2 port box which worked perfectly! The connections appear to be very reliable and well constructed. Backlit buttons on the front make it easy to see which machine is selected and make selection intuitive (and they even show if connected machines are on or off). My only complaint is that the labels on the face of the switch look almost comical as they don't really correlate or correctly indicate the purpose/state of the lights and buttons (but to be honest I don't think I ever noticed it). before because its functions are intuitive even without labels). I should also add that I've worked with many good and bad switches over the years and so far this is the best (almost two months). Regarding my specific configuration and usage: I'm switching between an HP laptop and an HP desktop (both running Windows 10) with a Dell 34-inch WQHD monitor, Corsair RGB keyboard and Logitech G502 gaming -Mouse. I didn't install the software as it's only useful for adding the "mouse button" toggle and my keyboard and mouse are wired so I can't comment on wireless connections or software. Instead I just double click [Num Lock] or use the front panel buttons to toggle. Both options work great, but the physical buttons are pretty stiff, so you might find the box moves a little each time (despite the rubber feet). I've decided to use some 3M dual-lock squares to hold it in place, but in most cases this probably won't be needed). Best of all, it switches quickly and, as advertised, maintains video identification, so there's no screen flickering and window resizing/moving that I've always experienced. So overall I have to say that I am very satisfied with this product.
