I'm a paramedic in intensive care, mostly 12 hours on my feet, you have to move quickly, don't slide, push heavy objects while holding your legs, that should function for the next 45 years while I will not retire. I LOVE THESE SHOES. The cushion feels like I walk on moon foam all the time at work, no heel pain. I also have a hammer toe misalignment from an old fracture in my left foot, which doesn't bother me at all in these shoes. I've always had Nimbus ASICS and was afraid to switch, they're always bloody ugly, but that wasn't as important to me as comfort. These shoes are worth every penny. I spend a lot of money on shoes when they work. I love them so much my heels are so happy in them. And they're prettier than the Halo version. The thin upper looks sleeker and more modern than the halo I usually buy. If I didn't make it clear, it would blow my ASICS halo out of the water. I pay if I try to wear one of my sneakers to work before the middle of my shift. Every other shoe I've had is incomparable.
