Not bad for the price

Getting started. . It took almost 2 hours to connect it to my TV. I called Pyles customer service, they don't have a phone number. emailed support but it wasn't until 24 hours later that I received an email reply and by that time I had already received a TV to connect to a bluetooth device and no longer needed support. Now to the next topic. not very informative about Bluetooth. It doesn't have the ability to manually connect with a pre-programmed PIN to force/permit a Bluetooth connection. It also doesn't have a dedicated channel for Bluetooth and disables all other audio options when Bluetooth mode is enabled, so when i want to listen to the radio i have to press a button on the receiver to turn bluetooth off, which brings me to the next topic. . The remote control must have a button to toggle Bluetooth mode on and off. The remote shown in the photos is not the remote that I received with this product. The remote feels cheap and the buttons stick when pressed and get stuck under the cheap plastic case to protect the remote circuit board. The volume and settings buttons are tiny and hard to find unless held under a light, and the remote is black and blue around the buttons with white text instead of black text to contrast against the blue background. The sensor for the remote and on the receiver gets blocked easily and it's a pain if you're like me have nicks and decorations on your living room table/tv stand that are somewhere away from the front of the receiver. Sound quality is the next topic of my post and first of all I want to say wow. I was expecting less for the price and everything else mentioned before sounds surprisingly good, it drives all 4 speakers and the subwoofer I have with no problems, I can set the volume to 10 and it's loud enough to hear a pin drop i see . There's a bit of hissing when nothing is playing, but it's easy to ignore after a day or so and you won't even notice it. It supposedly has LED indicators, to show the left and right audio balance, and the digital equalizer visualizer display is blurry, and when the volume is low, it does not light up or appear on the screen as if something is happening on it, it does not matter, but it could be better. power and standby. The power supply of the main unit is only routed to the receiver via the button, not via the button on the remote control. The only power option on the remote control is the standby button. Which I think is acceptable. I like to turn my systems off at night when I'm not using them. When you put the system into sleep mode, you would expect the entire device to turn off in terms of the I/O frontlight, but this is not the case. It remains a fully lit blue, and in an unlit room, it's bright enough to emit enough light to walk around and see obstacles you might otherwise trip over. lots of light. DVD player is a good tactical feature but useless in a home with multiple gaming systems and computers, or even if you have a smart TV with Netflix Prime Video which isn't really needed and useless to set up. Receiver audio outputs. The display on the device is difficult to navigate and the buttons on the device are hard to press and most of them do nothing at all. Overall, for the price, this isn't the worst device, but if you're looking for something easy to use, don't buy this device. that you might otherwise trip over. lots of light.
