and not strong enough to tie a horse for the first time

I was not happy when I received these lines. There are rivets in one section of the bridle, and the "smooth" side of the rivets will rub against the horse's skin. Stitches are also cheap and not strong enough to tie a horse for the first time. I hobbled my mule (first time hobbled) with it or 30 minutes and it reared and jumped as expected and in that time it ripped the stitching in the chains and the rivets ripped the crap out of my mule leg. I think this would be ideal for horses that don't move much when lame (walk while grazing, try to scratch, etc.) and until I find a way to cover the rivets to protect my mules' skin , I won and won't be using them again anytime soon.
