Review on πŸš— Enhanced Skunk2 Racing (343-05-0200) Air Intake System for Honda Civic by Brandon Daughenbaugh

Revainrating 5 out of 5

2012 Si Coupe, Sk2 CAI

This air intake is very well designed and one of the few that actually generates power. When I say "makes power" don't expect it to make your car fast, but there is better throttle response and some good horses (4-6 hp). Due to the 3.5" to 3" pipes that are designed for stock tuning, you DO NOT NEED tuning, but you definitely want to tune to get the most out of this shot. I used this inlet as my only tuneless mod for a month and my car ran perfectly with no issues. Now I have set up other screw connections. This shot required a lot of effort compared to others, but it was worth it, the plastic tube material is less susceptible to heat compared to aluminum tubes. Some air intakes have a filter next to the engine where hot air is drawn in. This air intake's filter is located at the bottom of the driver's side wheel fender, which draws in cooler air, but this also has the disadvantage of being more likely to draw in in the water. in heavy rain, water + engine = RIP, so be careful not to drive into flooded roads/big puddles and you'll be fine. for it, and nothing beats the satisfaction of hard work in your car. It works great right out of the box, but you definitely need a tune-up to get the most out of it, and more importantly, to get your car running at peak performance with this pickup. Finally it looks fantastic in the engine compartment! If you have any questions about the installation or in general, you can leave a comment below and I will try to answer them. Thank you for reading my review. Please let me know if it helps you!
