Solid and economical choice for barn door install

This was the best-prices barn door hardware we could find with the industrial wheel look. We have very old concrete plastered walls that look like cake icing so we opted to add an additional 2x5 board across that we painted white and acted as an anchor for the hardware. Not necessary but recommended if you live in a 1950’s or older home or if it’s just hard to find studs and you want to ensure a straight install. Once we measured and remeasured the screw placements, it was easy with two people. It’s quality painted metal and everything was packaged well.
