Daughter has a big Syrian hamster teddy bear. A very spoiled hamster with a complex cage system including an enclosure for a guinea pig. This wheel/saucer is huge. No joke. It occupies 1/3 of a large cell (see photo). Our hamster (Oreo) runs for hours on this wheel. Again no joke. hours and clocks. So much so that on night 2 the wheel began to creak from friction. I wanted to rip my hair out and tear it into a million pieces. Problem is, this is the only one we've found big enough to handle our very large hamster. And the hamster loves it. Oreo seals the whistle in a saucer every night (it's actually funny). I add baby oil to reduce squeaking. Was looking for a small ball bearing ring that would fit. Until then, I'll oil the bike regularly.
