I bought this to store salt. He keeps the salt. I love its color, it's sturdy and small enough to comfortably hold in your hand and sprinkle with salt while cooking without worrying about it falling out of your hands. I also feel that the upper is comfortable and fits well, but not so tight that you practically have to rip it off. However, the color I would describe is more of a celadon than a blue. It looks exactly like the picture so people who might read it being described as 'blue' should know that the picture is exactly the same as the product I received. Luckily it was exactly what I was looking for so I'm very satisfied. I haven't cleaned it yet except shortly after I received it but it was easy to clean. There are no hidden folds or crevices to get caught.
