Review on Effortlessly Maintain Your Garden With KIMO 3 Gallon Electric Backpack Sprayer- 20V Battery Powered With 3 Water Nozzles And 2 Extended Wands by Gabe Ries

Comfortable and easy to use

The Kimo 3-gallon backpack sprayer was my first experience with a backpack-style sprayer. I’ve used the classic style for years, frequently pumping to re-pressurize and carrying the heavy tank in one hand while spraying with the other. The backpack sprayer lets both shoulders carry the load while spraying with either hand. I chose the battery-operated sprayer over the hand-pump style because I was afraid I wasn’t coordinated enough to spray, walk and pump at the same time. When I removed this backpack from the packaging, I was concerned that the molded foam padding against my back would not be sufficient for the 17 lb weight of the sprayer containing a 3-gallon load. That is not the case: my back feels no developing pressure spots while I spot-spray for 30 minutes or more to empty the full tank. The padded shoulder straps with chest strap are as comfortable as my daypack I used when hiking.Pros:• Battery strength: after refilling and emptying the tank six times, dispensing 18 gallons in over an hour of spray time, the battery level lights still show near full strength.• Though I have no need for a battery that lasts longer, the battery cavity looks like it could accommodate Kimo’s larger 4000mAH Lithium-Ion battery.• The three-position rocker switch – low pressure, off, high pressure – is easily reached when the sprayer is on my back• Comfort: noted above• The brass nozzle delivers a very uniform mist patternCon:• In about two hours of operation, the O-ring on the wand side of the hand-control has gotten out of position twice causing the liquid to run down the wand.• The bottom of the tank is flat on the inside, or nearly so. When there’s still a quart or so of liquid left in the tank and you lean forward, the liquid flows away from the pump intake and spraying stops until you stand perfectly upright. A sump in the bottom would allow the entire contents of the tank to be emptied.
