Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Skechers Performance Women's Slip-On Walking Shoes - Athletic Footwear by Kimberly Banks

Wet wiped my soles after 20 minutes of walking. NOT the usual Skechers quality.

I love Skechers. I love Skechers Go Walk. My last pair was the SKECHERS Performance Women's Go Walk 2 - Super Sock 2 with a Goga mat inside. I loved these shoes. Without "hacking" them, I wore them ALL DAY at Disney World. ALL DAY! No calluses, no problems. I needed a pair of black walking shoes so I thought it would be better to buy another Skechers Go Walk 2 series. I didn't realize there is a HUGE difference in the varieties, all with different names and numbers, but they do belong all go walk series 2 together. It would be SMART if the GO WALK 2 series shoes were the same but no. THIS SHOE makes a big difference. flop if you will. First, there is no support inside. You can feel the firm sole through the thin padding. There isn't a Goga mat, which I was expecting, but there is an "Ortholite insole" and a "Resalyte cushioning insole"? no Absolutely not. This filling is about as thick as a dollar store smell eater. Second, the fabric lining inside is a rough polyester that chafed against my skin on my soles after walking around the store for about 20 minutes. My soles are hardened in summer. I have no problem walking barefoot on our shared terrace. So imagine my shock when a CLOTH could cause something like an "Indian burn” on my legs after a short walk! It was so painful that I could hardly walk for several hours after I took them off. Luckily my skin healed overnight but shoes should NOT do that. Third, the toes and sides are too narrow to be called regular sizes. The face fabric has NO flex so I can't stretch them to fit like my others. And the stuff is terrible. It looks like macrame. For me as a 39-year-old, it doesn't look very good. I didn't want to look like sneakers, I wanted them to look like loafers, but they're just ugly and awkward to wear in public. I seriously don't know what to do. I've worn them out and I wanted to try to get my feet used to them, but yesterday's pain they caused confirmed my fears: I can't get used to them because they are poorly finished. My legs need something better. But I paid $40 for it. I want my money back because they are NOT the usual Skechers quality. I think they are defective and I hope the company stops making them. If you have sensitive feet, buy another Skechers! Try Super Sock 2!
