Unfortunately they are not durable.
Very disappointed. My son got them for his birthday in April and he loves them! He used them several times and we took great care of them. Always put lids on and keep them in their packaging and store properly. He took them to make his brother a birthday card last week and they've all wilted! They didn't even last 6 months. Used about 6 times! He ended up using some Crayola markers that we kept in the tub for years and they still work. He was initially very enthusiastic about these drawing pencils. But not worth the money when they dry out so quickly. So disappointed. :(
