An essential addition to your PSVR headset. I have a PSVR Version 2 headset (with a headphone jack on the headband) and they fit great and make sharing the headset much easier than other headphones or the original ones that came with them. When I first put on a headset and didn't have to deal with the additional controls of other headphones, I was tempted to buy. Now these certainly don't compare to my JVC or Sony studio headphones (I work in audio production), but with PSVR I prefer open-ear headphones that still allow me to be aware of my surroundings. Properly adjusted and pressed against your ear, these headphones do an excellent job of creating the three-dimensional sound environment required for virtual reality, providing a more immersive audio experience than the thin sound of Sony PSVR headphones. Additionally, if your friend returns the headset to you after it's sweaty, it's easier to wipe off than other headphones and isn't as gross as using freshly sweaty headphones. If your goal is full immersion (especially with 3D movies) and blocking out the sound, then I would go for in-ear headphones, which offer the best sound quality for the money. What you're paying for here is convenience and comfort, and whether it's worth it or not will likely depend on how often you take the headset off and on and whether you need something that blocks out external noise completely.
