I love, love, LOVE this device! I had an old one that I used all the time and I was afraid that one day it would break. (It's not.) This model is exactly the same, although the super-sharp blades took a little getting used to! (My old one wasn't sharpened.) I use it for dressing salads, "grinding" everything, which for me is usually ginger and garlic, chopping a lot of things, etc. The trick is not to stuff it too full, I like it it to the brim. It takes up very little space and if it is like my old one it will last at least 20 years! It was really great when I was single and living in a small space, but I definitely still use it regularly now. I need to find a good way to keep the blades sharp.
