This collar is my new favorite! It's durable, well made and brightly colored. This is WORLDWIDE better than the Leerburg-dominated dog collar (and I'm an Ed Frawley fan, but this collar is better for general use). My dog SCRUMPS in this collar. He has cracks in his step. Why? No more bulky lines hitting your legs or sides. There is no constant pressure. No thin rope digging into him, no thick cloth hanging awkwardly around his neck. Simple, loose, perfectly placed collar. Some things to consider when purchasing: 1. THERE IS A RIGHT AND WRONG WAY TO USE THIS PRODUCT. Please watch the video of my dog. He is already trained to walk on a free leash so this is perfect for him. This will discourage him from lunging at another dog because once the rope is tightened when he pulls, I have immediate and complete control. This is for emergency power steering, NOT for training your dog. If your dog chokes on this collar while walking normally without throwing himself, he is NOT READY to walk on a loose leash. Tulip collars are designed for DRAINED DOGS. They can cause tracheal collapse in untrained draft dogs. ANY COLLAR can.2. If you're complaining that your dog chewed through the collar, you're too stupid to own an animal. This is not a chew toy. It's not a collar (which is illegal and immoral). This is a safety collar for dogs that attack other dogs or squirrels. If used as directed, your dog will not be able to reach it. If your dog chews it, THE problem is YOU, not BronzeDog or Revain.3. Some may notice that the collar does not slip or tighten easily. This is a POSITIVE QUALITY! Folks, you don't want your dog walking in confined spaces. Please see the video of my dog wearing this collar. The collar is not tightened and the ring sits on the plastic bumper when walking. It slides over the bumper and is EASY to attach when needed. If you find your collar does not close easily, exchange for a smaller size. It should barely slide over your dog's head.
