Review on RCA DRC6350N DVD/VCR Combo: The Ultimate Entertainment Solution by Russ Mashlan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Other product Supreme RCA

Although I know this unit is no longer in production, after four years of owning the DRC6350N I have to appreciate its reliability. I've been buying VCRs for many years and the RCA units have always been head and shoulders ahead of their competitors. I once made the mistake of buying a Fisher and the damn thing broke twice. I've never had problems like this with cinch blocks. The DRC6350N is no exception. It was easy to set up, and since I was already familiar with RCA VCRs, the DVD/VCR combo was easy to learn. The DVD plays CDs, DVDs and even DVD-Rs, although we had an issue with a DVD-R. maybe it was just the DVD itself and not the unit as the DVD-R replacement worked great. A previous reviewer mentioned that the remote isn't as good as previous RCA remotes. I had to agree with his observation. The buttons are small and oddly placed on the hand block. But that's a nitpick. The device itself is/was a masterpiece. I don't want this to be discontinued. Anyone know what replaced it? A. Nathaniel Wallace Jr.
