I have had a similar sponge holder from another brand for a number of years but it needs to be discarded as there is rust on the metal parts. This KitchenAid replacement looks like I won't have that problem with its "rust resistant satin wires". It holds two sponges upright and allows them to dry between uses. Much more hygienic than leaving sponges lying around. It's roomy enough to fit another smaller, flatter scraper, but that can slow drying time. It looks white with gray satin wires and looks more stylish than my old sponge holder. Cable and bottom drip holder disassemble for easy cleaning. Overall, this is a great kitchen sponge holder. My only minor complaint is that it's too smooth on the bottom and allows the holder to move around when you take the sponges out or put them in. Some sort of anti-slip rubber on the bottom would be a great addition.
