Review on ColorFullLife Air Purifier Filter Replacement for Dyson Tower Purifier - Pure Cool Link TP01, TP02, TP03, BP01 - Comparable to Part 968126-03 by Todd Atherton

I haven't had as much luck with this filter in my Dyson as others have. The filter installed like a normal Dyson filter and worked just like a Dyson filter ONLY ONE DAY! The next night when we went to use the fan he made this horrible screeching, turned the fan off and then flipped the filter over thinking it might help. 3:00 a.m. loud screeching again! Switch off, put the filter back in the next morning and everything is fine until we use the oscillation function, but over time we notice that the fan is emitting less and less air. Finally, at the end of July (less than a month) the fan didn't even blow/move a piece of paper right in front of it, checked the filter and it WAS NOT clogged, not even visibly dirty. We ordered a new filter from Dyson, put it in, airflow was restored and we were able to use oscillation again. When we looked at the air quality data since the filter was installed, we found that the air quality was poor the entire time we were using that particular filter. Two days after installing the Dyson filter, the air quality was good again. You get what you pay for, maybe mine was just one bad one out of many good ones, but the lessons learned stay with the Dyson now.
