Numbs prior to tattoo
This works for numbing top layer of skin prior to getting tattoo. I have even used it a number of times past the expiration date and it is still effective. I have used it with all of my tattoos. and areas where I didn't use this cream definitely hurt worse. There was no pain in some places. I used on skin at least 1 hour before tattoo session then again 30 min prior to tattoo session. I did not layer on then cover with plastic wrap. I did clean skins area just prior to tattoo session
