Review on ๐Ÿฅ— Cuisinart Green Salad Spinner: Efficiently Wash and Dry Fresh Greens! by Suhas Carney

It works - it works well - how we use it

It works very well and keeps salad fresh for days. The size (3 liters) fits me and my spouse well. Here's how we use it: Take 2 parts lettuce and 1 part romaine lettuce right out of the bags, cut into bite-sized pieces, and toss in the trash. .- Replace and secure the cover (the following steps do not require removing the cover). Then fill the bowl (about 2/3 full) with cold water from the sink through the fill hole on top - Gently turn the handle to wash the salad. Pour this water out through the filling hole at the top. Fill the bowl (maybe 1/2 this time) with cold water from the sink and continue working through the fill hole at the top (do not remove the lid). - Turn the knob to rinse the lettuce and start drying. Pour the water out through the filling hole at the top. - Now turn the knob tighter to dry the lettuce even more. Notice how much water collects at the bottom of the bowl (That's why you bought the salad bowl). Pour this water out through the filling hole. Repeat the "squeeze cycle" (enthusiastically) until the lettuce is dry (pour out the water each time). A clean, dry salad will keep in a salad bowl in your fridge for several days - When you want a salad, open the fridge, open the salad bowl lid and take out as much clean, dry, pre-cut lettuce as you like. Then put the lid back on, close it and put it back in the fridge. Life is Beautiful. (When you're done eating this salad, rinse out the salad spinner [not in the dishwasher] and start over.)
