Review on πŸ“± TEASTAR 7-inch Hard Carrying Travel GPS Case: Zipper Bag Pouch Cover for Garmin Nuvi, Tomtom, Magellan Roadmate, and More by Craig Rossman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

There is virtually no padding inside the suitcase!?!

Day 1: Haven't traveled with this case yet. When first opening and inserting into my Garmin DriveSmart 61 with 6.95 inch (19.65 cm) screen, only the GPS device and the charging cables fit in. I wouldn't put anything else in here, I plan on keeping your friction or other mounts out of bounds when not in use. I noticed that there are no spacers between the outer and inner skin of the case, so I turned the screen inward to avoid damage when dropped. I ask why they built the hull without a gasket? I might put in a piece of bubble wrap or furniture bumper pads for extra protection/peace of mind. As you can see from the picture, the mesh pocket is 3 inches (7.62 cm) high, which is just over half the size of the case. The bracelet is good.

Pros
  • GPS, finder and accessories
Cons
  • boring packaging
