These razor-sharp sewing scissors are ideal for cutting through multiple layers of fabric and quilting. They are sharp to the point, so they can also be used to cut small areas. The only thing I didn't expect was that they were made for right-handed people. I'm left-handed but have many years of experience customizing scissors for right-handers. Since they are so sharp and easy to cut, a small ergonomic issue doesn't bother me. But if I had to do it all over again, I'd try to find left-handed Clover scissors.
