Review on Bovee WMA3000B Wireless Interface Integration by Jeff Zamora

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great sound, worked first time

I was skeptical about purchasing a secondary Bluetooth adapter for a BMW audio system, but after destroying two official cables in normal use and experiencing years of unstable operation the official solution, I was willing to try anything. I connected the WMA3000B to my 2008 BMW X5 and immediately a new device called 'Headset' appeared in my iPhone X's Bluetooth menu. I connected using the passcode 0000 as per the manual. , and also. that was it. I pressed the play button for the song and while not perfect the sound was just as good if not better than the official physical cable. And therefore more reliable. When I get in the car my phone connects automatically and my music continues perfectly every time. No drops, jumps or disconnects. Just remember to keep your phone's volume at around 80% to avoid clipping. Browsing my library also works flawlessly with the iDrive system. The usual Bluetooth calling features, phone paired to the car still work great, switching back and forth seamlessly. Siri works. Wheel controls for skipping tracks also work. I paired this wireless adapter with a standard phone charger cable that plugs into my cigarette lighter so I can still charge my phone in the car. It's also superior to the official solution because now I can fast charge by charging my phone's battery at 2000mA instead of 500mA like the original cable. The only thing that could go wrong now is the product could die. I will update this review when this happens. Edit: It's been two months and he's still going strong. The latest iOS update made it more reliable, which is great. Sound quality and reliability are still good.
